Gutter cleaning
in Los Angeles.
LA's mix of dry summers and short heavy winter rains makes clogged gutters a real problem. We hand-scoop debris, flush the downspouts, and run a flow test before we leave — so you know it actually drains. We don't blow leaves into your yard or rinse without checking the system. That's not cleaning. That's redistributing the mess.

Hand-scoop debris from gutter runs
We pull leaves, petals, palm fiber, and bird-nest material out by hand and bag it. Blowers move debris, they don't remove it — and they push half of what's there into your downspouts.
Downspout flush and clear blockages
Every downspout gets hosed from the top while we listen for the line clearing. If a downspout is blocked we work it from below — sometimes that means pulling the elbow apart to clear what a hose can't reach.
Flow test under running water
We run water through every gutter run while watching for slow drains, weeping seams, hidden cracks, and overflow points. If it doesn't drain right after the cleaning, the cleaning isn't done.
Photos of before/after sent to your phone
We text you a short set of photos and a one-line note on what we found. No surprise charges, no oversold add-ons — just a written record so you can see what your roof actually looks like.
How a cleaning actually goes.
Most single-family cleanings are wrapped in 60–90 minutes from arrival to walkthrough.
Quote and schedule
Send a few photos of your gutters and downspouts through the online quote form for a written quote within 24 hours. Or call directly — we'll be back in 15 minutes during business hours. Either way, we confirm the visit the morning of so you know when to expect the crew.
Ladders set, drop cloths down
We stage ladders against the gutter and fascia (not the tile or shingles) and put down drop cloths under each downspout outlet so debris doesn't end up on your beds or pavers.
Scoop and bag debris
Each run gets walked end-to-end. We pull out every handful of debris by hand, bag it, and haul it off — not pile it on the lawn.
Flush and flow test
Hose runs from the highest point down. We watch every outlet, check for slow drains, and clear any downspout blockages we find. Anything that doesn't pass the flow test gets worked again.
Debrief and photos
Before we leave, we send you a short photo set and a written note: what we found, what's clean, and anything we noticed (loose hangers, fascia damage, a cracked outlet) that you should know about.
What actually drives the price.
- Linear footage. How much gutter we have to walk and scoop. Most single-family LA homes run 100–180 linear feet.
- Home height. Single-story is straightforward. Two-story, three-story, and hillside lots need more ladder time and slower setups.
- Accessibility. Steep yards, dense landscaping, fences, or pool decks under the eave can turn a 60-minute cleaning into a 2-hour one. We price what we see at booking.
- Tree coverage. Pine and palm are the worst offenders in LA — pine needles knit into thick mats, palm fiber wraps around outlet strainers. Heavy tree cover means more bagged debris and longer flush times.
- Guard removal/reinstall. If your gutters have guards installed and they need to come off for a thorough cleaning, that adds time. Most of the time we can clean over guards without removal.
